Carol Bianchi

Carol Bianchi is a staff writer for Affordable Housing Hub. She graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Psychology and has done extensive research work in pursuit of being accepted into a doctorate program.

Her role at Affordable Housing Hub includes sourcing up to date information and news on affordable housing programs within the U.S. and bringing that information to the readers of Affordable Housing Hub. Carol has worked closely with Regional Housing Authorities for the last 5 years and continues to expand those relationships and open the lines of communication between housing program coordinators and Affordable Housing Hub.

Her personal experience has given her direct experience in navigating the challenges often associated with securing affordable housing. Early in her career she worked for Utah-based non-profit House of Hope. House of Hope is transitional housing for women and children. Her role included helping women transition from the House of Hope program toward self sufficiency. As part of this process she often coordinated with Housing Voucher administrators and Public Housing programs to help the women in the program make the transition.

As a result of her in-depth experience navigating HUD sponsored housing programs she has made it her mission to help streamline the process for the millions of Americans that are looking to secure affordable housing.
