Eligibility is based on annual gross income, qualifying as elderly, disabled, or a family, and U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status. Maximum family gross income is 80% of Area Median Income Limits (AMI) for Public Housing units, and 60% for Public Housing/LIHTC units.
The HCVP waiting list is closed. HANO is currently serving more than 17,000 families and has a waiting list of approximately 20,000 additional families. Applications were accepted in November 2022. Income guidelines are provided.
