Emerald Development and Economic Network - Cuyahoga County, Ohio, Section 8 Waiting List Now Open

Nonprofit Emerald Development and Economic Network is opening their Section 8 Waiting List for the Mainstream Housing Choice Voucher Program on Nov. 13 and will remain open thru Nov. 15, 2023. The last time it did so, in 2019, more than 6,000 people applied for only a few hundred spots.

Applications will be available online beginning Today Nov. 13.

 Lake Metropolitan Housing Authority - Cuyahoga County, Ohio, Section 8 Waiting List

The Lake Metropolitan Housing Authority is opening their Section 8 Housing waiting list application on November 14, and will remain open thru November 20, 2023. 

Shasta County Housing Authority - Shasta County, California, Section 8 Waiting List

The Shasta County Housing Authority’s Section 8 Waitling List is currently open and will remain open until further notice. Apply online here: www.waitlistcheck.com/CA836

Burney Commons - Shasta County, California, Project Based Voucher Waiting List

The Burney Commons Is currently accepting applications for their Project Based Vouchers. Check eligibility and apply online here:

Multiple Sites - Fairfax County, Virginia, Public Housing Waiting and Project-Based Vouchers Available Now. (Senior Preference)

Seniors interested in applying for affordable housing waitlists will be able to starting Nov. 13-19, 2023 for multiple properties in Fairfax county.

  • The Fallstead: One-bedroom apartments for seniors located at 1609 Great Falls Street, McLean, VA 22101

  • One University Senior (The Belmont): One-bedroom apartments for seniors. This property is located at 4518 University Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030. (Under Construction).

How to Apply: Waitlist applications will be accepted Monday Nov. 13, 2023 at 8am and can be accessed via the Fairfax County Housing and Community Development website. The waitlists are scheduled to remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023.
