The Arlington County Department of Human Services is opening their Housing Grant Program (Local), Housing Grant, Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), and Other waiting lists on Monday, October 5, 2026. Apply Here
Beginning October 5, 2026, the program will transition to a waitlist-based system for new admissions, with pre-applications accepted through October 19, 2026. An automated lottery will select up to 500 households for placement on the waitlist. Arlington Public Library locations will offer assistance for waitlist pre-applications.
