Delaware County Housing Authority Opens Waiting List

The Delaware County Housing Authority (DCHA) is now welcoming applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Program, commonly known as Section 8. This program is accessible to families living in Delaware County, excluding those within Muncie City limits. Priority will be given to applicants with a head of household, spouse, or sole member who is either 62 years or older, or considered disabled according to HUD's definition. All families who satisfy the income eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply. To be considered, families must submit income and family information online, which will be verified once they reach the top of the waiting list.

Applications will be open from 8 a.m. on April 18, 2023, until 4 p.m. on April 19, 2023.
