Important Information

  • Apply to as many waiting lists for which you are eligible but do not apply to a list if you are not eligible

  • The number of spots open are for spots on the waiting list, not vouchers immediately available

  • Late and/or incomplete applications will not be accepted

Lottery

Due to the high demand for vouchers, all ACOH’s waiting lists are lottery-based. Once the waiting lists close, complete applications will be sorted at random, and a fixed number of applicants will be placed into the available spots. No preferences are used during the lottery, which provides equal opportunity for all to apply. Preferences, such as disability, residency, homelessness, veteran, or being a victim of domestic violence, will be considered when families are selected for assistance.

Reasonable Accommodations may be provided to those in need of assistance - contact ACOH for more information.
